Upon the invitation of the Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will visit Iraq on 21 January 2018 to discuss the issues on the agenda of Turkish-Iraqi relations.

Along with meeting with Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Minister Çavuşoğlu is expected to meet with the Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, Speaker of the Council of Representatives Dr. Saleem Al-Jubouri and the Iraqi Turkmen politicians in Baghdad.
