We strongly condemn the anti-Türkiye event organized by the ringleaders and supporters of the PKK/PYD/YPG at the premises of the European Parliament.

It is unacceptable to allow for such an event to take place, which serves as a propaganda tool for an EU-listed terrorist organization that targets the territorial integrity of our country.

This demonstrates once again the hypocrisy and insincere stance of the European Parliament in the fight against terrorism. The event’s title also includes Türkiye in an attempt to legitimize this activity. Permitting this event to take place is also in contradiction with EU’s international obligations.

Türkiye, without making any discrimination, will continue to resolutely fight against all terrorist organizations.

We expect the EU institutions as well as the EU member states to stand by us in our fight against terrorism that poses a threat to international security.
